Yeah that's the problem with these open ended games- and mod would have to be done totally and just right to do FS justice. I downloaded the demo version *after* posting this (
) and I guess my memory of having fun with the game outshone what I got out of re-visiting it after all these years.... It's still fun, though I'm not sure I feel up to going beyond the trial version again. I'll really have to play this keeping a conversion in mind, to see if any ideas to do it right come to mind.
It could be interesting to see the FS universe from an open-ended merchant captain view, but I just don't know if I have the energy to do it totally and do FS justice.
Just thought I'd throw the idea around though
