I know there's some interest in seeing hud gauges and interface art made movable (through things like interface.tbl)

I'm curious, is there anyone willing and able to work on the source code (Basic C knowledge/experience) in these areas?

At the moment, the hud_gauges.tbl system is pretty easily expandable - you don't need extensive knowledge of the codebase to add more gauges to the table.

With some modification, I'm pretty sure it could be used for an interface.tbl (If Kazan hasn't already started working on his)

I don't mind writing some documentation on how to add more movable hud gauges if someone's interested, maybe even set up something for an interface.tbl, but I don't want to start another project to not finish.

I know there are at least a couple coders who are working more for a given mod than for the SCP in general, this is something that could benefit both whatever their mod is and others.

Oh, and I've also been thinking about making it possible for a mod to define HUD gauges through a DLL.

Any interest?

I...might.  My contract ends on Feb 11, odds are I won't be renewing it, so I may be able to find some time for coding.
