Something I'e been spending a bit of time on

I'm still adding details, but since I am the attention whore that I am, I'm posting this image looking for feedbacks.

Looks good Raa, but there is something...off...about the back.  It doesn't seem to go with the front...
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

Wow, looks incredible, but that rear needs some beefing up.

I like the form, but it honestly looks like two fighters fused together.  It's too long, too spindly, and the entire back end seems to lack purpose.  Excellent technique, I just don't like the end result much.

It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

To be honest, I do, and I can not lie.

I'd actually cut the entire "tail" end off and leave it as a short and small fighter. With the right textures, it could be either Terran or Vasudan.

The idea behind it was this; It's meant to be a light, and quick, atmospheric and space fighter. The central shaft, what's being called spindly, is the main core of the ship. The wings, engines, and cocpit are attached to it in a sort of... armour suit... fashon. Meaning that the core looks to be wearing armour padding, with exposed bits here and there. unfortunately, you cannot see that too well from that one image. I may post more later on, but I am still adding detail.

I'm leaving the tail, it's been troublesome finding something that works on it, and I agree that every vessel needn't have large engines in the rear. It's different, and I like that.

Well, I do happen to like it with the tail as well. Looks to be very fast, but maybe not the mst maneuverable?

Yeah, I'm agreeing with Solatar. That seems to be the deal with atmospheric fighters these days... is this a Freespace ship, or is it for a non-canon mod?
Wh00t!? Vinyl? Is it like an I-pod 2 or something?

It's just for fun. I figured the art forum wouldn't be appropriate.

I agree.  I also think that the forward wing should have the same degree of anhedral as the you've got on the rear pair.  I'm thinking that its semi-stealth (original Loki type) heavy assault, of Terran design but Vasudan influence, as is the Hecate.

My first thought was some kind of detachable intersystem jump drive, developed back before a drive small enough to fit in a fighter was created...

Is it supposed to be an interceptor or a light bomber or what?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Love it too. Especially what you've done with the wings on the fuselage :)

The model is pretty good, but, it looks like to a Dolphin. Especially if we look properly the nose and his forward wings.
