Just a note... most missions for TVWP will require more than 2 hours. Have you made any longer missions before?

No i didn't make two hour mission. My longest mission was about 45 minutes. But I can make veeeery long mission

Um, wait.  I didn't mean two hours to play the mission - I meant two hours to create the mission.  The timestamp on your mission file shows that it was FREDded in less than two hours.

Okay, I played it last night.  While it was well done from a technical standpoint, it was a lacking in many other areas.  Short summary below:

Positives: Excellent background; excellent use of custom PCX effects; excellent knowledge of various FRED features (briefing, messaging, beams, sexps, directives, goals, etc.)

Negatives: No story to speak of; short messages that only tell you what is happening and nothing more; crazy balance (Ares fighters + Kaysers and Trebuchets with no explanation??); only one debriefing stage

Bottom line: It's very apparent that this mission was a quickie job, as is evident from the "created" and "modified" dates: from start to finish in only 1.5 hours.

At this point it's hard for me to say anything one way or the other.  I can see that you're very competent with FRED, which is a plus.  Do you have any other missions on hand (even if they're not in English) that you worked on for a while and put some effort into?  Maybe some missions that took a couple of days before they were finalized?

Okay.  Sorry I didn't get back to you before but the board keeps going down.

The mission is very technically well-done, and I can see you're a good FREDder. Your missions could certainly use polishing but we have other people who can do that.

However TVWP is "on hiatus" until Galemp and I finish Silent Threat: Reborn, which is taking the majority of our time.  It shouldn't take more than a few months, so we may have to put you "on reserve" for the time being.  Is that okay with you?

I would highly recommend checking out the FRED Academy (in the Campaigns subforum) in the meantime.  It will help you improve your FREDding skills and get more practice.
