I re-installed FS2 wil the SCP using the latest Media VPs, i am using build fs2_open_r-20060116 only recent build i could find, now when i run the game i get a Crackling sound when ever i go into the techroom or play a mission, it gets worse as i move ships about in the techroom and when i move about in a mission, does anyone who if this is a bug or is something not rite on my machine?

I had this. Updating the ac97 driver fixed it.

[Edit] Link. The one I used was the 3.82 driver, seems they're up to 3.83 now, but doubt that'll matter.
