Problem openning files in core vp

I don't know what gives, but I cannot for the life of me, open up the *.tbl files, yet I can do *.tbm files.  I don't seem to have this problem with WCS, BSG (though I noticed B4 Minbari Project also has this error).  Honestly, I'm not sure what gives.

Is anyone else running into this?

The core VP is too big for Descent Manager VPView32 1.3 to handle. Use the Descent Manager VPView32 2.0 beta.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.
