As I said before, Episode II is not as good as the first one, though there are a few really nice missions imo. But I hope the end doesn't too much like a copy of Derelict.

You sure you made everything correct with the installation? StormFront12_root.vp is in your "StormFront12" folder?

I haven't started playing part II yet but when you say a copy of Derelect, let me guess. You mean the ending is the collapsing of a node and probably a Knossos too? I hope not. That idea is so old that it gets boring. If this is the case, I suggest that you remake the final mission.

Spoiler: | The end contains collapsing a node, but that just happens "offscreen". |

Played it a bit now (rather big bit actually), and I have to say, although it's not that good as Episode 1 I still like a quite much. Nice amount of mysteries in it, so I'm looking forward to Episode 3. Fighting is also nice and I really like your backgrounds - actually I'd like to ask if I may use them for some missions myself?

It is a bummer to have the node collapse. That means the end of the Shivans, huh? I would rather the campaign bring the fight to Shivan space instead of collapsing a node and that being the end of it.
Edit: But it seems that the Alliance will have no choice but to collapse the node. I have made it to mission 19 so far.

I'm having trouble with the second mission Spoiler: | When I try the mission where I have to destroy the shivan depot, I always get a mission failure even when I destroy all the cargo containers and ships |

nice campaign. alltough I got to add a small mini-bug Spoiler: the mission where you and the Iceni frigate have to kill of shivan fighters and a corvette, and capture a few disabled ones in the process - the frigates waypoin paths take it away from the Moloch. With time compression it took a small eternity for both ships to come into fireing positions again.

Thanks for all the positive responses. @Ole Of course you may. @MarsNeedsWomen No! Not again! I hate that mission! Will have a look into it later this afternoon. Edit: Okay, here are the fixed missions: Click meI removed the ship-type-destroyed-sexp (I had problems with that earlier). Now everything should work. Oh, and btw. How do you feel the skill level? I tried to make the missions easier than in Episode I.

Wasn't that bad, although I played on easy or medium, so I can't really judge it. Except for one red-alert mission in which I started with 3% hull left (which led me to replay the previous one) there were no real problems. Some challenging situations, but nothing that couldn't be handled. Actually, although I really like the Ares, I sometimes felt that he's a bit too strong - maybe restrict him more thoroughly?
And by the way, thank you.

You know, you could have used spoiler tags.

Just unpack the mission files into your FreeSpace/StormFront12/data/missions folder. ;-)
