Feature Request: -emissive_factor
I think the title says it all.  I've been playing around with the graphics settings lately and I like what no_emissive_light does, but I would like to tone it down a little so that ships are dark, but not too dark.  Any chance this could be implemented in the near/distant (hopefully not :( ) future?

Re: Feature Request: -emissive_factor
Doesn't -ambient_factor N (N>0) have about the same effect? :nervous:

Re: Feature Request: -emissive_factor
The emissive color value seems to be pretty low already. If it's too bright for you, try lowering the ambient factor.

Re: Feature Request: -emissive_factor
The ambient factor seems to have very little effect, possibly because most of the missions I have been working with have no ambient light to begin with.  And even with an extremely low ambient factor, ships seem to light (but with no emissive light they seem too dark).  There's a difference between ambient light and emissive light.

Re: Feature Request: -emissive_factor
I simply disabled emissive light with -no_emissive_light and set -ogl_spec 44.5 and -ambient_factor 90 on mine.
