I would have to +1 that bug report. Changing resolutions doesn't seem to work.
High Max, the previous Launcher can still be found in the RC3 release thread.

Similar issue here. It disregards my resolution settings. I've got it set to 640x480, and it's doing my native screen resolution (or similar).

Link to the old launcher is now in the 3.6.10 release thread again.  We'll work on getting those issues sorted out before I spring another one like that.  Thanks for the quick updates on that guys.
