i'm just starting archspace and i'm wondering what race i should play as. I'm thinkin xerusian or human.

For those that play, help/advice would be cool, thanks

Go as a human. As in most games, their the average player. My name is Cpt Novak, the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Star Alliance (G.S.A.). Submit an application to my council and I'll help you out.

I think the Xerusian's are best for their Psionic powers. Just go human, there's not that much difference. And leave your research as Free Research, it's a lot quicker.

k......... darn nibled xerusians....looking so cool.. that lil pic would be cool with the name "Knight Templar" next to it, but ok. Besides if i get good i can re register right? i'm just trying to get an easy understanding and a good start, so humans, here i come!

Send out explore fleets as much as possible (generally only 1 ship in explore fleet, seems to go quicker).

Get "the Proxomitron", kills pop-ups, banners, ads, intrusive cookies, nosey java scripts, you name it.  Not sure if it works in the game, but you should still get it.

Not much... But a lot to start off with! When I played the game I had about 500 million PP (and not because of that stupid bug from last round).

I have played an online-game called Planetarion, though I haven't played it for year or more. Has anyone here played both of them, and is Archspace good? I might try...

I'm usually reading these forums everyday, but i rarely have anything to say

I play planetarion as well, and it is ok.  Fewer people play it now that it is p2p.  But it is still decent.  The 4 races tend to make things more interesting.
