Not getting ANY sound at all out of nowhere, neither with headphones or speakers external.

You are still using 3.7.4 which is out of date. Please try a build of the 3.8 release. There is nothing unusual in your log but it does end before showing all information so there may still be some useful information in a full log generated by 3.8.

Also, please post log files as an attachment to your post since it takes up too much space otherwise and is hard to read.

 
Downloaded 3.8, hope this helps. Also I tried running in debug build 3.8 offers, but nothing seemed to pop up, had to go into file folders manually to find this.

There is no indication that FSO fails to play audio so the problem must be somewhere else. Have you checked the in-game audio menu? Maybe you disabled all sound by accident. You can also check the Windows Audio volume mixer. It's possible that Windows decided to mute FSO for some reason. Also, the log says that it will use the Headset for playing audio. In case that is wrong you can change it in the launcher.
