Regarding installation instructions
I know this is a priority for you guys, and probably non-negotiable, but can you please please please give the FSO-compatible install instructions higher priority than the retail ones? Make them more distinct so that they don't confuse people, as evidenced here: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=71680.0 ?

Re: Regarding retail compatibility
We kind of already do.  Galemp extensively rewrote the readme for the new release with this in mind.  He also uploaded a "FSPort Complete" package that only needs to be unzipped in order to work.  Like it or not, we're probably always going to have these users. :)

Also, topic renamed.

Re: Regarding installation instructions
Still, the "retail" install instructions are the first ones listed; I'd rather see them moved under the FSO install instructions. That way, people won't read them first.

(Unless you have data suggesting that there are more people playing this with retail than with FSO, in which case the ordering makes sense)
