Yeah, probably your system.  Loaded right away for me. :p

I think I've seen this site before.  The labeling is nice, but if you can do without that, you can install Celestia for a more lightweight, internet-free version.  On a slightly-related note: would anyone be interested in a program that can generate actual 2D star charts (e.g. to print out, kinda like this) from an arbitrary point in the mapped Milky Way?  Because I have a .csv with like 45k stars, their position, spectral class, and absolute magnitude that'd be pretty easy to parse.  Only hangup would be generating a .svg for the star chart, but I'm sure I could figure it out.

Also in Celestia or Space Engine you can add a larger star catalog file with one or even two million (actually existing) stars.  100,000 is for pansies.
And I couldn't even guess how many procedural stars are in Space Engine.  Probably in the sextillions.

Meh. The linked map has neither the asteroid belt, nor Pluto.  :p

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

It's kind of hard to link the asteroid belt, if you're being realistic.

Can we please get rid of the term Planet already? Most of the Multi-Elemental-Spheroids that make up the cosmos do not orbit the Earth! And they are not stars either, the whole thing is such a cluster****.

Especially now that scientists are blurring the line between Asteroid and Comet. (I am not well educated anymore on Space so that was news to me)

I've seen this thing before, honestly it's a bit disappointing. There are too many really obvious discontinuities in the rendering for it to feel like a good picture of the real universe.
The good Christian should beware of mathematicians, and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger already exists that the mathematicians have made a covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and to confine man in the bonds of Hell.

Not exactly on topic, but today's APOD is fitting:
