I cant install FS2O

I just bought Freespace 2 on steam i love this game ive played it for years and now ive found you can mod it. However, i try to install FS2O but it gets to the MediaVP's and says "parent not installed :failed" please help

Are you using the installer? If so can you retry with version 2.1.9.  It has a fix that should let all the mods download correctly again.

Please post your fs2_open.log ... (sorry, i just had to do it :D)

Installer should help, really.
