One other question:  The two big ships near the red beams...What classes of vessel are they?  One of them has to be the Golgotha...

They both look like Golgotha's to me.

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
1. Do any old, familiar ships appear? Such as the GTD Aeneas, GVD Toeris...?
2. Will choices to join the GTVA or the SCP be like "Press 1 to join SCP, Press 2 to stay with GTVA?"
3. Will we see any Saphah class vessels?

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
SCP = Sol Coalition of Planets
SCP = Source Code Project

Guess which one I'm talking about.

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
is there a campaign that comes before this in the storyline (besides main FS campaign, of course)? In other words, does this have a prequel?  Also, will it have a sequel?
Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made

To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky!

1. Yes
2. It's a little more complex, but it's still done in-game through a crucial choice.
3. I'm not a huge fan of reskins, there's plenty of new ships in BWO to tide people over in addition to the regular fleet.

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
1. Do the SCP have any special things of their own?
2. Do the Fishes have any special things?
3. Is the Scion of Vasuda more than it seems, or is it really just a normal rebellion?

Derelict takes place before this campaign.

Derelict takes place before this campaign.

Maybe not in the right order, but:

FreeSpace Great War
Aftermath (FS1)
FreeSpace 2
Derelict
Warzone
Twilight
Blackwater Operations

1. Do the SCP have any special things of their own?
2. Do the Fishes have any special things?
3. Is the Scion of Vasuda more than it seems, or is it really just a normal rebellion?

Just to make sure they get answered.

1. The SCP has gone on its own technological evolution branching from the Great War. It's not though in the same manner as seen in campaigns such as Inferno or Machina Terra.

2. There are a few tricks up their sleeves.

3. There are no Shivans in Blackwater Operations.

There are no Shivans in Blackwater Operations.

Will we be seeing any Shivans in BWO  :p (just kidding)

Is the pilot actually stationed on a Golgotha for any length of time or just in a fleet that incorperates them?

I mean, is it more than the classical rebellion of BETAC haters that is defeated once Alpha 1 joins the fight?

You are stationed on the Golgotha for a period depending on what path you take.

3. I didn't mean if it was Shivans, I mean do they have a hidden motive, like to make a hidden subspace corridor to a parallel universe or some crappy **** like that?

So the Vasudans are wearing clothes now? :p

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
Will Warzone and Twilight be playable before BWO comes out do you think?  I know you probably can't give me a definite yes or no, but whaddya think?  I read about familiar destroyers and I wanna see the relevant history behind this storyline.

Warzone and Twilight are already playable, and have been for several years.
