Regarding the physical rewards, can we elect to not receive them rather than pay international postage? I'm not expecting anything in return for this, I just don't want to pay possibly exorbitant postage across the pacific!

Also, the tactical demo links for OSX & Linux still seem to be pointing to the alpha release?

Yeah, I am in the same boat, I can live without the physical rewards. Just getting the game is good enough for me.

The OSX and Linux builds should now we working with proper links, we had some issues but they're sorted!

Anyway the big thing is to please spread the word. For the cost of a beer someone can be in the credits!

Will the Synth be affected by virus weapons?

Also, good to hear that the espionage system will offer more offensive options, as you said in other games the risks usually outweigh the rewards. And IRL blown espionage missions don't usually lead straight to a declaration of war. Garry Powers, Rainbow Warrior, Indonesian phone tapping, etc. ~Realpolitik~

The mechanoid trait (fully artificial) should make a species immune to bioweapons.

Cybernetic should make them more resistant.

But that needs to be subject to testing since as it is the Synth are the best at research and their main penalty is starting off with a fleet instead of a homeworld.
