Can you say lost in space?  The Reliant must be really off course here, no?

 

Quick and dirty render to see if I could get a good B5 hyperspace effect with some of the basic tools in 3DS.  I used the Reliant because it's a much smaller model than any of the B5 ones, so I could render it faster and easier.

Looks fine to me, though I wouldn't be one to judge.

I like it, it's kinda "same" all over though, you might want to up the fiberousnes (sp?) of some areas... but other than that it looks good!

Pretty good. It's pretty simple, missing some of the bright spots and swirls of the show, but that's about what 3DS can do... I think.

Then again, my experience is limited to Blender.

I bet you I could turn out more or less the same effect in Photoshop though...

Or render the background seperately, and then use photoshop to do the lights/swirls...


Other than the uniform background and there being only two ships(quick and dirty, I know.  ) I like it.
