If Diaspora wants a thick French accent, they can just ask MatthTheGeek to do some lines.  It isn't a stereotypical accent by any means, but it is hard to understand sometimes.

I heard TotalBiscuit mention he'd bought a saitek joystick to play a "freespace 2 mod that was based on the BSG world" - the mention of BSG =  had to try it out.

Yet to experience past 'briefing' but what i've seen is extremely interesting, just wish i could get the logitech dual-action controller fully working, keyboard/mouse feels hmph and I cant justify the expensive of a joystik, yet.

I have just Googled Diaspora and this project appears on the second page! At the top but only on the second page!!! With the amount of traffic this board is getting because of it, this suprprises me greatly!

I saw it on a thread for a BSG mod for Sins of a Solar Empire.

Someone showed a link for Diaspora's release, and from there, I got into the game.. And love it!

I haven't subbed him and I don't really watch much of his stuff, but he's mentioned Freespace before and he's a big youtube gamer and has done stuff with the yogscast (the dudes I do watch) before. Maybe maybe maybe if he likes it he might post a short gameplay, maybe.
