So, a week or two ago, I started the process of HTLing Stratcomm's GVC Naunet, but stopped when I discovered that Blowfish had already made a vastly superior version. I got rather excited at the prospect, and PMed him but, when I didn't get a response, I checked his profile, and it turns out he's not been active for months, and not posted since 2014.

Does anyone have an email address for him, or have him as a FB friend or anything like that? If someone could get me his contact detail, or even just maybe get him to jump on HLP so he could read my PM?

It's a really cool mesh, and I'd hate to see it languish unfinished because Blowfish has left the HLP community.

this thread has reminded me of all the all but finished models that are flying around in this community... makes me saaaad to see all that good work go to waste.. we gotta do something about this people :/

Well, blowfish got in touch, thanks Darius/Battuta.

Fightermedic: Yeah, it is a shame. Luckily, for unfinished models, I've found people to be very willing to share if it means their work will make it in-game. It's just a matter of finding the models, and the author, and the time/skill/motivation to finish them. Lots that can go wrong in that equation, unfortunately. But when it works, it's great. The Endymion came about from exactly that process.

As a futher plug... I've got about 10 unfinished models in FSU, including ragingloli's Boa... I have full intentions to work on some of them after BtA is done, but I also want to do cutscenes... soooooooo.....
