Title: Secret Operations 1: Original Soundtrack
Post by: ShadowsOfLight on August 01, 2011, 02:20:31 pm
So I've had an original soundtrack lying around for a few months, and since the actual campaign is currently quite stagnant, I've decided to release it for general listening or use in other FS2 campaigns. I originally posted this in the Syrk forum, but I thought it might be a good idea to release it here since it isn't exactly related to Syrk.

Download contains 1 briefing track, 6 standalone tracks and (basic) album art. Enjoy!

Download here (http://www.mediafire.com/?fl8mu3yknbor446) (MediaFire).

Preview can be found here (http://syrk.hard-light.net/Music.html).

If I may be so bold as to ask...

How did you make this music and what program did you use?

I see you dare question what dark and unspeakable methods I have used to make this music...

My Digital Audio Workstation (i.e. the conductor, so to speak) is FL Studio. ($99 US for the version I have)
The synth I used most was called Sytrus - I made heavy use of a free set of patches made by a guy named "Timmy Techno". It's normally $159, but once and a while it goes on sale - I ended up getting it at a very reasonable $49. There are varied opinions about the quality of FL Studio and Sytrus, but I've been having a blast with both!

Thanks...Hopefully the real deal lives up to expectations :)
