No you're certainly not dead. I love the cb anims and the shockwave is out of this world. The OVF Shu is cute. Is that a gattling gun you've stuck on my Aegis fighter-killer. Good teaser thread chaps. Did the trick.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.

Seriously, CF, that's some fantastic work you've done there. You deserve the publicity. ;)

You flatter me :)

Seriously, the credit goes to the whole team. Especially to Miburo, he has done great job on those backgrounds and weapons. I'm just a busy finn with nothing better to do :D

Spoiler:
While we're on the topic - that Aegis remains one of my favourite terran mods. The texture use on that thing is brilliant.

[EDIT] The Burlywood was being lost in the BG. Yay for the spoiler tag! ;)

If you mean do they appear at different points during the campaign to further storyline elements in ways that the missions themselves can't then the answer is a most definate yes.

At the moment we're staying away from dialogue since none of us are professional voice actors so the cutscenes will tend to be more action orientated than the FS2 ones (half of which were mostly talk) but I don't suppose there will be too many complaints about that :D

For those who missed it the MindGames Teaser Trailer we released earlier is still up for download.

It was spliced together from a couple of the first animations CF did for MG and it's a little rough around the edges compared with the finished version but it should give an idea of what to expect from CF's anims.

Sorry to dampen the good feelings here, but why are you using the Shu, Reshef and Loki? With all the hundreds of MODs out there, couldn't you pick some new fighters that aren't appearing in half the post-FS2 campaigns out there?

Spoiler:
Good Vasudan fighters are hard to find, and the Loki is a canon ship, the plans for which amost certaily would have been somewhere in Sol.

What else would you have them use?

Now I really can't wait for the release. Will it be out by new years?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
