Give me a good reason why Admins are somehow entitled to only having avatars. I want an avatar damnit.
I have released a big loving mod and then rereleased it as a even bigger total conversion stand alone piece of fine work. Why does Goober get to have his phoenix avatar that is all like "oh look, I released something" and this title that makes him seem like he is super important and amazing. Why don't I get a fine title that acknowledges that I did something great?

This is a dumb system.

I actually am laughing. I was gonna say to your OP basically we've got bigger problems than that, but yeah. Hard Light is dying. Just check the forum stats for number of posts year on year and the post counts of new members going back a year or so.

Having spent a lot of time in other Old Vidyagam Communities, I'm actually really surprised by how active this one is all these years later. It may be dead compared to a few years ago, sure, but it's positively vibrant compared to what I'm most used to, yet those communities are still around anyway.

It's pretty rare that a really old game maintains a massive fanbase for the long haul. Pretty much the only ones I can think of are Doom and Half Life, and I'm not even totally sure about the latter.
