How do I do it, capture the Kodiak?

I've been trying everything coulnte get salavage to work on that map,
                    (okay everything I could think off)

and been really nostalagi running does campaigns

So, Noone have any experince with this mission? isnt there one or two that did this mission and succeded ? or failed like me? anyone?

You will have to have the pilot in order to salvage that Kodiak.

You must leave a free pilot on the roster. If you drop them all in mission, then you cant salvage because you dont have a pilot to put inside.

I had 1 pilot, it seemed pretty obvious imo, that I needed 1free pilot for the kodiak
Tried starting the mission with of free pilots to, it dosnt seem, to unlock the salvager option

It's not a script or something? that enables the kodiak to be salvageabke? if it's just the regular salvager option, it's completly greyed out, not selectable
I thought maybe it was scripted that I need to activate something

I've been salaving in of missions, so I have a pretty good idea how it works,
my way to find out if the option is open, I Just quickly add 50k resources, and only 1 mech, then I start the mission to see what is availbe of options, (Arty,Mine,Repair) stuff like that, then I abadon the mission, and setup accordingly,
Something I really miss in does mission breifeings  What's avaiable, etc No repair truck, no ammo reload, hence more energy weapons, No ingame salavage, Lots of smaller mechs, to fill out your pilots skills, stuff like that,
Is salvage avaiable, You put the biggste mechs, so you have of free pilots

Sorry, not having a pilot is a first and simplest error.

You cant salvage Kodiak before you complete all previous objectives:
1. Destroy Production Complex
2. Destroy ALL Grain Storage Buildings
3. Destroy Cargo Dropship and 2 Buldozers at Mining Facility

Only then you can proceed with:
4. Capture - Salvage Ghost Bear Kodiak

What? Where is this campaign you speak of.  Is It bundled with the latest update? as I cannot find a separate campaign file anywhere.  (probably right under my nose)

It is bundled with MCO304 - Start new campaign - MW2 mercs...

Hmm i'll retry the mission from start,
but I already did does objectives, and they stand as completed in the mission objective overview
I destryoed everything I could destroy, there's no more enemy mechs, even the DC mechs where destryoed
only the DC dropship is still there

Okay, I did the mission again, and yes, right after the 3 objectives are completede you get ungreyed salvage option,
however, I did some quicksaves, and eventual I lost a few mechs, made a quick load, and it was greyed out again,
I think quick loading might bug it out

Okay, did the mission like this,

Objectives

capture middle Do objective 1, then 2,

return to middle and repair, go to objective 4, and kill/capture the base,
kill stuff returning,
go to objective 3 and quicksave before you kill the dropship/bulldozers
and now you can shoot the stuff up,
get the kodiak, and whatever you do dont quickave after you did objective 3

Im certain that the quickload screwup the salvage option(Greys it out)
if you have compltede the 3 objectives

Ohh it's the last mission :S There's missing 4 - Mechwarrior 2 missions?
the one where you defend Luthien?

Yes, I think you are correct about quicksave/load. Support variables state is not qucksaved, game will load starting values. One more bug to fix, thank you.

I have Luthien maps completed, will have to do unit placement and brains to finally finish this campaign.
