Hi MAG, I've checked out more of your two Ghostship games now and read a lot of reviews on Steam. Still I have some questions: So Ghostship Aftermath is the survival horror version of CDF Ghostship which is the FPS version. But you already get weapons and enemies in the former. This sounds pretty much like the same game to me, except for gameplay details that could be chosen in an options menu. A lot of people complain about lack of saving and perma-death. Wouldn't it be much easier to have people turn this on and off in options than release the whole game twice? Or will CDF Ghostship contain more content, like additional space stations and ships to explore?
Both games are very different and have different mechanics. CDF Ghostship is the FPS with 4 games modes, story mode for free roaming, onslaught - wave based survival horror etc, The storyline is based on what happened on the ship and space station and is a FPS with no perma death, some differnt enemies and weapons. The game is also going to be multiplayer and CDF focuses action as it is an FPS.
Ghosthsip aftermath is a new breed of survival horror with shooting elements, roguelike elements and is made for VR (Virtual reality) It has perma death, o2, light mechanics etc and has random stories, elements, and enemies. The game is much slower pace and the storyline is based after the CDF Ghostship game.
Both are very different, look out for CDF Ghostship coming to Steam Early access on halloween
