Rudder pedals

I got myself some Saitek combat pedals thinking it'd mimic a viper perfectly but... what axis do I configure then on??? Im confused. Vipers have no rudder.

What do you guys use pedals for?

This is my current PPjoy setup window... Im not sure how to set them up to be useful.
