At work we're about to install equipment that'll run 10GbE over 50-60 km's using single mode fibre. The copper twinax connections which can do the same speed are only good for 5 metres (admittedly the fibre connections cost a *lot* more than the twinax cables).

But my point was more about the 4k resolution, less so curved. Things get better, they release expensive, time goes by, they get cheaper, everyone upgrades, repeat

I think this is significantly less true of services than products. My price for internet has never dropped since I've been paying the bill, and probably not even at home before that. Standard speeds have gone up, but it doesn't seem to be matching the pace of the actual technology development. Fiber optic is not a new thing. They covered that in my middle school computer classes.

The one that comes to my mind is "Sailor Moon," I watched a few episodes of it just to try and figure out wth was going on.

Had a bit of a setback in terms of my brain thinking things today
Currently working through it, but unfortunately it highlighted a few things that are starting to take root
It's hard to not hate oneself when oneself works so hard to make them hate themselves. It's very conflicting and convoluted

discovered today that it is in fact the bass and not the cable responsible for the loss of output. well that's disappointing. that's one of my main outlets out of commission for a while. better not be expensive to fix. i slightly suspect the guy i had re-finish the face did a shoddy job putting it all back together when he was done. there was a decent amount of noise coming from it prior to suddenly going silent, but i can't be sure at all that was the bass and not the cord or game.

noise indicates a short circuit, if we're lucky it's just a loose connection. If we're not lucky then something got burnt out.
