Couple of questions - cutscene and pilot name
I finished the FS2 main campaign, then cloned that pilot and started BP AoA using the cloned pilot. I selected the Blue Planet mod in wxLauncher, then the AoA campaign.  Every time I launch the game I get the FS2 endscene.  Is this normal? No big deal, but I wanted to make sure I was not missing out on anything.   Derp; I just watched the whole thing instead of escaping out, and saw the pretty title screen "Blue Planet".

And speaking of the cloned pilot, I made a typo in the name.  Is there any way to rename the pilot, or do I just need to live with it (or create another pilot and start over)?  I don't know if it will corrupt anything if I rename the .csg and .plr files in the \FreeSpace2\data\players folder.

Thanks!  I apologize if these have been answered before; I didn't find anything using the forum search.

EDIT:  I just went ahead and created a new pilot, as I had not gotten very far into the campaign.

By the way, there's no need to have a separate pilot for different mods anymore, since the new pilot code was introduced in 3.7.0.

<MageKing17> "There's probably a reason the code is the way it is" is a very dangerous line of thought. :P
<MageKing17> Because the "reason" often turns out to be "nobody noticed it was wrong".
(the very next day)
<MageKing17> this ****ing code did it to me again

<MageKing17> God damn, I do not understand how this is breaking.
<MageKing17> Everything points to "this should work fine", and yet it's clearly not working.
<MjnMixael> 2 hours later... "God damn, how did this ever work at all?!"

<MageKing17> but once again we have reached the inevitable conclusion
<MageKing17> How did this code ever work in the first place!?

<MageKing17> It was all working perfectly until I actually tried it on an actual mission.

<MageKing17> TIL the entire homing code is held up by shoestrings and duct tape, basically.

Thanks!  I thought so but I wasn't positive.
