How to 'reset' the FSO installer?
I am trying to reinstall FreeSpace 2 and the FreeSpace Open installer, with a select few mods and enhancements, but many options are "grayed out" in the selection screen, because I did a complete installation first (i was a fool).

So now, my only two options seem to be: install all the mods I previously installed by checking the box to re-run the installation of previously installed mods, or manually install only the mods I want. How do I get the FSO installer to "forget" its previous installation? Where is this information kept? I reinstalled FreeSpace 2 completely and re downloaded the FSO installer...

If you want to start over completely, there should be a file called "fsoinstaller.properties" in your "home directory".  Remove that file and the installer forgets everything.

You should be able to find the file by opening explorer and entering %HOMEPATH% in the address bar at the top.

Exactly what I was after! Thank you!

I would've thought the properties file would be in the same folder as the .jar file. I was so lost. :O
