Awakenings crashes mid campaign
I know you are going to rip my bloody arm off and beat me to death with the wet end, but this noob is out of his depth.
Running a nice new install of FS Open from the installer - 'everything' downloaded.
Windows XP Pro v2002 SP3; on an Intel Core 2 Duo [email protected] GHz with 2.75GHz RAM
Gigabyte NVidia GeForce 210 Graphics Card & Auzen X-Raider 7.1 Sound Card
Played several campaigns with no probs, creating a new pilot clone for each. Played several missions within Awakenings with no probs, then crashed when the next mission rolled over, with a consistent error message on each re-try (after getting through to the Main Hall).
See log attached. (And sorry in advance if this is an obvious and dumb fix.)

So it looks like the issue is that (thanks to our totally cluster****ed MediaVPs versioning system wherein the old versions don't get downloaded ;_;) the campaign is asking for the MediaVPs in mediavps, but you've only got mediavps_3612. Could you try opening the mod.ini for Awakenings and altering references from 'mediavps' to 'mediavps_3612'? Does that help at all?

And, you guessed it. You were right. Amending the .ini file to mediavps_3612 did the trick. Thanks heaps.

Aha.  That's not actually an MVP problem... that's a problem caused by the Port making a model obsolete when Awakenings still used it.  Will fix.
