Getting Error on FS1 Campaign
Hello.
     I am new to the port and the forums. I played Freespace 1 and Silent Threat back when it first came out, and stumbled across this forum and the Project yesterday when I went to reinstall it. I purchased FS2, and attempted to install the new FSOpen files and such, and begin to play through the campaigns.

     When I get to the second training missions - the advanced ones where you learn communication and such - on the Great War Campaign, I keep getting the following error when it crashes.


Subsystem "communications" in model "fighter02.pof" is represented as "communication" in ships.tbl.  Although FS2_OPEN 3.6 and later will catch and correct this error, earlier versions (as well as retail FS2) will not.  You are advised to fix this if you plan to support earlier versions of FreeSpace.

I am playing on a Macbook Pro 2.53 Ghz Intel Processor, Crucial SSD, 4 Gigs RAM, Nvidia 9600GT M card, on Bootcamp with Windows 7.

Thanks for any help. I am trying to figure it all out, but am a little overwhelmed.

Try selecting a build that ends in -r or -release instead of -d or -debug, if you haven't already.
