Ok I have been away from the forums for a while granted but wtf happend to all of the smilies?!? I had the snipe one for a avatar on another forum for petes sake and now I have no idea what to do are they still here but moved or what? Just aaaaagggggggghhhhhhh!!!

That's what you get for hotlinking images from another site

The forum has changed domains, and all of the links to gamespy are now dead.  The smilies from the old site should be broken.

But that doesent answer how you get them. Before there was a window what is it now? Where is it now? that is the only one I know and that is because I had it in a post before and they changed the address for it and I looked at the properties for it and saw it. Since we're no longer freely mooching Gamespy's bandwidth, I'm not going to outright encourage hotlinking of any forum internals that aren't necessary.  However, it shouldn't be a difficult analysis of what has changed between the old and new smiley to determine what you'd need to do to make the rest work.

EDIT: And this really does need to get moved to Hard Light.

Actually I believe it is kinda a puke color and that might be because i have the 1,4,7 post and so on. but ok I will look at the coding for the old and the new smilies.

Also how do I change my avatar(assuming you can still do that of course). I cant figgure it out the menus were changed and i cant find avatar in any of them. And the puke color thing is now prob cause of the me being the topic starter.

Nope, it's because you're the thread starter.  Only works in this forum from what I've seen so far.  It's a pretty gross color, so I hope that it gets changed at some point.

EDIT: And you can't change your avatar or title.  That's a board feature; you're only allowed to be given a title by the admins, or an avatar by working on a hosted project.  That's the way things work here.

Which avatar did you have?  Project avatars are not exactly complete right now (I used to have one for Ferrium) but everyone should either have one or none at all.  There's something screwed up with a number of users though, and you seem to be among that list.  You can't fix that yourself, regardless.
