Problem Installing FS1....might be wrong board

Anyway i was trying to install FS 1 when i get something along the lines of:  "move error: -177". i got the same with decent, except it gave me a file directory. i deleted everything in that file, and it seemed to work. but it diden't give me anything with FS1. thanks in advance.
Fun while it lasted.

Then bitter.

where is the game being installed to? i hear there is problems when you install to somewhere like c:/program files/games/descent freespace. If this is the cause, install to c:/games
