I was having a problem with the Homesick Campaign and read a thread which said how the fix the problem by opening the program with Wordpad. I mistakenly opened the .vp files with notepad and this corrupted all the vp. files rendering the game unplayable. Yet now it seems to now have has an effect on Turey's installer as now I can't even reinstall the game. I need help!

Delete everything and manually install FSO and stuff. It's not that hard.

Well I'm trying Turey Installer again and it seems to be working, but it will be a while until all the files are installed and I can try the game out again.

You could have just re-downloaded the .vp.

I'm still wondering how you corrupted it. Unless you hit "Save" in notepad, it shouldn't have changed anything...
