Well, it's not that hard to change a turret's color, just change the laser glow in the table.  And if you want to change the effect you can just extract it and change the hue.   Then save it as an 8-bit pcx.

doh! I want to know the names of the yelowish turrents. I have a yellow muzzel flash and I want to know where to set it.

Put the file into the effects folder. Then go into the weapons.tbl, go down to the entry for the Terran Turret, and at the bottom of that entry, put in
"$Muzzleflash: <desired effects name>" (minus quotes). Put the table file into the tables folder in data in your FS2 directory. The Terran Turret should
then always fire with that muzzle flash.
