FreeSpace and .ogg files

Can FreeSpace play .ogg files? (I know that with BtRL all their voice folders were .ogg so I know that FRED will allow it, but can you play a .ogg file for the main hall?)
Do or do not, there is no try...

You should be able to use .ogg for any piece of game audio, I believe.

Thanks. To get the sound into the main hall do I have to edit the mainhall table, or is it more complicated than that?

you probably need to add it to the sounds.tbl.

Or music.tbl. Or create a .tbm.
