Re: I forgot why I refused to go out...
If only we knew why life sucks so hard.

Because something like 99.9999....99% of the Universe is a vacuum?

There is technically no such thing as a vacuum thanks to quantum virtual particles :P

Vacuum still sucks.  Hard. And besides, virtual particles don't count when they are in the way of a lame pun.

And people wonder why we're all miserably lonely. :p
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Actually not, because as far as I'm concerned certain ugly girls can be more free-sex-machines-like than hot girls.

Physics lesson for y'all: THERE'S NO SUCK.

There is no such thing as negative pressure*, it's all just pressure differentials. So logically, if it feels that life sucks, in reality it's caused by the fact that YOU BLOW. Anyone can confirm this if you ask them to be honest with you (although some won't because they think you might become sad panda and go kick a dog or something).

This means life will stop "sucking" as soon as the pressure differential is equalized. There's two ways to achieve this - let pressure out (which can lead to becoming an empty shell) or regain some pressure aka content on the outside. Specifics to achieve this I'll leave for anyone to figure out themselves.

Thus endeth the lesson.

Yeah that's true in some occasions. But I still have standards regardless

As pathetic as it sounds, it was only about three months, but I'd known the girl for years. We were just at the point where we were telling each other we loved each other, and then she gave her best friend a blow job, I'm like, okay, we can work through this, she stopped talking to him, and four weeks later, here we are.

I don't want to sound mean or anything, but if she had a guy( that wasn't you) as her best friend, she didn't want to be in a serious relationship with you, IMO.

I wouldn't necessarily say that's true, I mean women are allowed to have guy-friends.

No, I agree with that, but if you say you love someone, it's totally different. At least in my opinion, when you tell someone you love them, I can't see how you can still be best friends with another of the opposite sex. Now then again, in my opinion and my thoughts, when you tell someone you love them, you are saying you love them and want to be with them above anyone else and be with them the rest of you life, thus would make them your best friend. So, that is where I may be off.  :doubt:

On the contrary, since we are humans and we are complaining about life sucking, if you put a human body in space, there's plenty of pressure differential to make you explode. Therefore the analogy still works, and its more accurate anyway since human beings define their existence through misery and pain. HAH!

Most of my friends are of the opposite sex. Though I'm fortunate in that my partner is my best friend, I consider that more a happy coincidence than an inevitability.

You don't explode.

There's still a huge pressure differential, and you still die.

Technically it's not even the lack of external pressure that kills you.  It's all that delicious lack of oxygen going to your brain.  \(°_o)/

Yeah. It would also be frozen.

Boystrous 19 year old temp at work slapped me in the face with an envelope and laughed it off as playful. So I shoved him over a desk and laughed it off as playful. It's on camera so I can plead reasonable force.  Temp is now passive.
