There will be a SCP development meeting next weekend, as follows:
irc://irc.esper.net/scp
GMT (UTC+0): Sunday, October 11 at 2:00 am
EDT (UTC-4): Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 pm
Beijing/Perth (UTC+8): Sunday, October 11 at 10:00 am
The reason for the weird times is to ensure that karajorma, portej05, and I will all be able to attend. This also allows for a reasonable chunk of the USA to attend as well. Apologies to Great Britain and anyone else for whom the meeting time falls at an inconvenient time of day.

The meeting will be open to the public,
within reason, and we reserve the right to kickban anyone who acts like an idiot or disrupts the conversation.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss requirements for the cross-platform FRED and the cross-platform launcher. This is for requirements
only, not implementation details. We will have a period of about a week (possibly two weeks, depending on SCP member schedules) for public comment and for people to start generating ideas. Then we'll have a follow-up meeting to establish implementation details and a plan of action.
If there's clear consensus, or if we finish discussing requirements with lots of time to spare, we may combine the two meetings and just do everything at once.
