Okay everyone, here's the release candidate for Diaspora R1.1
R1.1 is meant to be the version of Diaspora we wanted to release originally but couldn't. Stuff we'd planned had to be cut out because we simply didn't have the staff or the time to implement or test it. The biggest change you'll notice is that we finally added the briefing animations we'd always wanted. Thanks a lot to David cgc for those (We should thank Matthew Haley for the DRADIS screens used as the basis of our animations). We've also ironed out a bunch of the bugs that were still present in 1.0.4. Hopefully no new ones have sprung up in their place.
If there are no new bugs reported, we'll bump this one up to the official patch release very soon. We're also planning a new installer for those who haven't got the game which will install the game and patch 1.1 at the same time.
As with previous patches, this patch does not require you to have earlier versions of the patch in order to work (and will in fact delete earlier versions). DownloadsWindows
