Truespace is among the most popular modellers in the community, possibly second only to 3DS Max. Prior to Styxx's development of a pof exporter for Max, use of TS was neccesary when building models for use in FS2, but this is no longer true.
Early versions of Truespace are available for free download from Caligari.
