Ok, so I decided to finish it. But I lack ideas on what to add to it... Did I slight update today though.

However, if someone wants it in-game, somebody else will have to UVMap, Texture it, and put it in-game, as those things are beyond my current skills.

So suggestions/ideas please. And tell me if anyone wants it/is willing to put it in-game.

You should add more turrets, IMO. Maybe one or two (advanced)torpedo launchers(not like the ones the Fenris and Leviathan cruisers have), some AAA turrets, up to four small flak turrets and not more than 2 anti-capship beams.

Oh, and change the name.

I like the design; it has a good feel of streamlined sophistication while retaining some hint of the original inspiration. No major nitpicks, though I'm not sure I like the swept-back extrusion on the bottom -- it might look better if it was just vertical? Then again, perhaps not.

those wierd circle things on either side, in the middles section of the ship (look in bottom part of pic) should be two TerSlashers (the normal version, not the light version)

Select all of the edges right click and you will see hardness, click hard and viola, you can use the thing to used to get rid of the lines without the smoothness and it will be easier to see the detail.

       Or the "Fafnir", like the gay-sounding Battlemech with Heavy Gauss Rifles.
       Though supposedly in Norse mythos it's a cool Dragon. With a name like that I'm not convinced.


       Even so, maybe better than War Monger. I designed a Battlesuit once for Battletech and called it Death's Visage or something, and it was a pretty lame name too. War Monger, maybe not the best . . . .

Warmonger doesn't work that well. It might work for a specific ship, but it sounds...out of place as a class, seeing as its not from mythology like all the other ones are.

I can't hear that name without thinking of the Fattie 'mech. (offhand, I much preferred the Warhammer, Argus, Centurion, and Black Heart anyway.)

But back on topic, I also think Garm is better, because having two Terran cruisers with 6-letter F-names could perhaps get a bit confusing. "Garm" is easier to differentiate from "Fenris" at a quick glance than "Fafnir" is, particularly for guys with less-than-perfect vision like meself.

Tho Jormungand would work for that purpose too.

Ditto. Though I actually like the Fafnir mech. Its so satisfying blowing small mechs away with twin Heavy Gauss.

Its even more confusing if they kept Fenris as Fenrir. Then you'll have two cruisers that have six-letter names that start with "F" and end with "ir".
