It glitched?

It's a very nice picture of the sun, but I don't see any fighters or capital ships.

Your mission may be devoid of ships. Or you are heading away from them if placed.

What lands in a .tga file should be exactly the same as what you're seeing on your screen when you press PrintScreen. So... It isn't the case? That's strange.

Maybe you look for the screenshots in a wrong location? Older FSO builds placed screenshots into 'screenshots' folder in the main game directory, but newer ones place them somewhere in AppData/Roaming/HardLightProductions/Freespace Open. Maybe check there?

I am moving this to the support forum.

Are you taking many screenshots?  Make sure you aren't looking at the wrong image file.

I am absolutely puzzled. Perhaps a log could provide some info for anyone who can help. (Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.)

Wait, can you see the ships glowpoints (blinking lights) but not the ships? I've seen that happen before.

Do the ships disappear as the screenshot is taken, or does it look like a successful screenshot, except when you view the file, it is not?

Reminds me of the old Polaroid cameras, if you didn't wait for the shot to develop.  I'm guessing the problem is entirely different however.  :warp:

It could be some coding, perhaps?

We need an fs2 open log to try to narrow down the issue.  (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56279.msg1180359#msg1180359)

Also, which FSO version are you using and does the problem still occur with any other FSO version?

Do you have any mod warnings that show up when you run a debug build?

3.7.5 Nightly build. No, on my machine, but Woutersmits does.

Woustersmits has mod warnings or he runs into the same issue running another version of FSO?

Woutersmits says only on screenshots it won't show ships on the game and that's a problem.
