After finishing all of blue planets missions, I found that the final level of the act 3 campaign refuses to load. It gets stuck on the loading screen at the first bar for a while, freezes, then returns and promts, "Cannot load mission" I have reason to assume this may be the cause of my attempts to debug the previous level which was also a little glitchy (I succeeded by restarting everything and retrying multiple times) Recently, I've turned to using cheats to get past this, to somehow access the final level by other means or other save files. I tried skipping the level so I could run the level in the test room, using the command "skipmymissionyo" only to be reminded that by 'beating' the last mission I restart the campaign. So now I have a reset file and no further way to try to get to the level without restarting the campaign (It seems as though using the skip cheat to get back to that point is impossible). My best guess is that I couldn't load it because of something corrupting my save file, as I reinstalled all of freespace 2 and blue planet as well as the VPs and SCP, to no avail (with the same save). What I'm looking for is a save file completed up to the final level or any reasoning as to why it won't load. If needed I will complete the campaign once more to reach that point to get information.

Techroom => Mission simulator => Campaign missions => press Control+Shift+S to unlock all missions. Done.

On a more personally illuminating note.......cheats in FSO? :wtf:

Same as in retail. :)

It's probably more complicated: https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=90901.msg1802740#msg1802740

The ctrl-shift-s isn't listed there though.

It isn't listed, but it definitely functions. I think that at some point, we should just create a FAQ topic with all the fun tricks like that listed somewhere.
If you encounter some kind of repeating error like this, be sure to capture a debug log. What you need to do is, using Knossos, run the faulty mod with the "Run fast debug" option in the dropdown menu on the mod tile, play it until you encounter the error, then leave the game and use the "Upload debug log" option, also in the dropdown menu (notice that it uploads the most recent debug log, so make sure to do it immediately after you capture the error with the debug build). After this, just post the link to the log somewhere and the community will figure something out.
