Hallo there Wing commanderfans,
i love this game but i'd like to play wc2 with the keyboard but its
impossible, had someone the same problems? Do you know some
solution?

I don't get it.

On modern machines, WC2 is best played in DosBox: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

Also, just like in WC3, you can make sharp turns in WC2 with the Shift + Arrow key combination.

The point ist, that in WC2 the keyboard reacts very slow, and with the shift arrow combination very fast, do you know a possibility to get it work normal? The wcsaga goes well under xp, so why should i use dosbox?

Because Wing Commander Saga was developed for Windows XP, Wing Commander 2 wasn't.

Honestly, I had better luck running WC2 with a mouse rather than keyboard. It doesn't beat a joystick, though.

I finished my first ever wing commander game with a Snes controller. (The secret missions) it was suprisingly comfortable
