Flight Mechanic Cindy McLaren, of the GTD Galaway, poses for an "inspirational morale-boosting" photo for the fighting men of the HLP.
So ever since I made this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,33461.0.html) and apparently permanently damaged some HLPers, I figured I'd better make up for it and do an actual pin-up for the boards instead of just a joke one.
So then I went out and did a bunch of drinking, and promptly forgot about the entire thing. But then I remembered again, and am now recalling why I don't tell anecdotes anymore, because I get distracted on tangents.
So, uh... anyway. There you go - enjoy!

Looks a lot better, but.... (http://www.astrosurf.org/lombry/Documents/et-stargate-season6s.jpg)
No, no, great work. :)
-
Some glaring anatomical issues, especially on the lower torso, but not bad, melikes :D I love that Ursa in the background, and the lighting of the entire scene :)
-
striking.
-
 Lol, nice work!

Sadly, I agree. Sadly, coz otherwise it would have been great ;)

I had it as wallpaper for a couple of weeks. :D
It's still more disturbing than this one :)
-
She looks like she's had a face lift. Oh well, it's still pretty good and it's the thought that counts. :D
-
BTW Am I the only one who thinks she looks a lot like Patricia Tallman from B5? :D
-
Highlight this. Now.
-
I guess she's the reason all FS2 multi-part turrets start out in the upright position, eh?
-
And then shoot blobs of goo?
-
Glad to see that people like her!
And yeah, I had a lot of trouble getting the face and the body correct. I find that if I don't exaggerate features a lot, all of my characters look too man-like. Female hips are especially bad.
I used this (http://s87054502.onlinehome.us/portfolio-PM200006A1-03-lrg.jpg) (Not safe for work, school, minors, Christians, or the easily aroused) as a pose, which wasn't quite what I wanted, but the best I could find after painstakingly examining hundreds of playboy photos. Hey, it's hard research, but no one said that being an artist was easy.
EDIT: BIKINI'D, to comply with forum rules. Sorry about breaking them!
-
sounds like fun research. :D
Those turrets must have gonorrhea or something it's not the right color:p
-
Haha. Nice job even if the anatomical issues are present. But the overall painting, coloring and setup itself makes the pic worth congratulating.
-
Linking to porn = Ban
I'd advise that you remove that link.
-
-
wayhey!
you can highlight it now

Sorry, I had assumed that "porn" constituted hardcore stuff - despite the jokes I've become so used to working with nude subjects that it doesn't really register to me any more as pornographic. Edited the picture to make it more family-friendly.
-
Nice bikini.
-
That's almost as good as the original pic
Still think she looks like Pat Tallman though :)

Lol nice work man. Hehe we need more.. :P

Dear lord... I just saw the Vasudan one for the first time... nearly died of a heart attack, then a laughing attack reading all the comments.
This one ain't half bad although the girl's ass is kinda huge. But it's an awesome idea, I think it's great!

Now I understand why the beam turrets have to recharge a while after shooting that huge beam for so long.
:nervous: Don't hit me.

Necrophilia is a bad thing.
Playing Bring back the old threads may be a bad idea as well.
-
Well at least he didn't bring back the "other" one
-
yes. it woould be the end of days if he did.
-
By "other" I assume you mean the vasudan visoion-impairment appartus?
Although now that I think of it, the vasudan pic would make a good new logo for HLP...
-
fix up her eyes, and youre onto something
-
My first non-enemy, Turambar!
Anyway, I'd say, fix the title of the Khob'ani (sp?) pic to "Reminding the boys what they're fighting for" and you could incorporate it somehwhere on the site, maybe a background or something. It's actually a good idea, I think, because:
1. It has an element of the FS universe (namely, a Vasudan).
2. It's humorous, which as we all know HLP most definitely as.
3. It shows appreciation for the work done by the community.
As to the question of whether female vasudans are different from males, call the...um...distinctly female parts 'artistic license'.
Incidentally, although I wouldn't dare to revive the old thread, the title actually could make sense because if it's from Great War times, as the year given would make possible, than it could be a reference to the forces fighting the Lucifer at Vasuda prime.
-
Al of this doesn't help the fact that I demand more Vasudan pictures! :ick:
-
Fire and boobs... Fire or boobs.... Fire with boobs?
-
...am I the only one to whom that made no sense? :wtf:
-
Probably.
Think about it in the context of the thread title.
-
Thanks, StratComm. I need to work on my innuendo skills .
