Haha! Now you just need to build a functional Fishbed and thread the needle like you can do in the game.  :lol:

I threaded that needle with a Eurofighter, so a Fishbed is not a must. I have seen people doing it from the wrong end with an

IIRC there is a mod that gives Kerbin cities. Make F-14s, use a part colouring mod to make them black, optionally install BD armoury, then send Jeb, Val, Bill and Bob up there. I think I made a MiG-31 somewhere, If you want I can dig up the craft file for you.

I've tried making a thing like that in KSP already. No, "The Unsung War" is unfortunately not physically possible in any aerodynamic sense. The SOLG doesn't fly in a curve, it only wants to point straight down. If I force it with Hyperedit, the aerodynamic forces just tear it into pieces. Which is sad because I prepared a whole batch of F-14s for that.
The SOLG does fly in a curve actually, as a side note, but the altitude at which this is possible is so high, the F-14s cannot reach it.
