I cannot Install TBP 3.4

It says that their is not enough space free, but the partition I use for the install had 70 GB free ?

Can it be that their must be a special side of space free on the partition with Windows on it ?

hi,
to extract the msi under windows, write this in the execute programm in the windows start menu (dont know excatly how it call in the english windows version):

msiexec /a "source" /qn TARGETDIR="target"

for example:

msiexec /a "C:\TBP-Base-3_4.msi" /qn TARGETDIR="C:\Test\"

When you follow this example you would find TBP in C:\Test\Program Files\The Babylon Project after the extraction progress.

It creates still Program Files\The Babylon Project Folders, but so you can extract the msi to a partition you want and after this you can copy & paste the directory. Other possibility is to use this Torrent, this hasn't any install, it's a packed rar archive you can simply extract to the directory you want.

I do believe that GParted LiveCD has an option to copy a partition, and then afterwards enlarge it.  It's what I use... you'll just need to allow Windows to finish it's automatic chkdsk when booting to Windows after you fiddle with it in GParted.

You can resize / move partitions with this util, I do it all the time.

Hip63 Just put up a 3.4 installer. Let 3.3 and its bugs rest in peace.

I really hope that 3.4 will work without this errors ( I have no private Internet, I use a Cafe and my USB Stick only get 512 MB, so i must go to a friend to download the new version"

Get a new USB stick... 1 Gig is cheap ($10), 2 Gigs is still cheap ($20).  And 16 Gigs is decently priced... ($130)   Newegg FTW!
