You mean the missile lock sound from FS2? Yeah, they are very similar but the one in the TV show is slower than you hear in-game.

Yeah that one, maybe wasn't the entire locking sequence sound, and also heard the mouse hover/clicking on the mission briefing window items, I might be wrong where the sound are from on FS but that second sound I'm sure is from FS

A lot of FS sounds come from sound libraries. The choral pieces of "Joshua", for example.

I believe that the sound generated when you click on an option that changes to a new screen, was used as Nightcrawler's teleport sound on "X-Men: Evolution".

Ever play Starcraft? Ever click on the Terran Academy and hear that crazy scream? I hear that scream all over the place. So yeah, probably a sound library situation.

Oh yeah, I heard that scream first on Dark Forces 2 when the player falls into a cliff/abyss, I have heard it on series too, in situations where it clearly didn't belong, made me chuckle

That's the Wilhelm scream, search it on Youtube, it's everywhere.

I think I've heard the rearm docking sound in a few places and quite some of the damage fizzles.
