Here's how things were at the start of Spoon's forum game, and at the start of this conflict:



Smileys will be used. This is what they mean:

 :) - Ally fleet dealt damage
 :( - Hierarchy fleet dealt damage
 :pimp: - Enemy fleet destroyed.
 :eek2: - Ally fleet destroyed
No smiley means no damage.

A quick example:

If fleets are listed with a *, that means they're damaged. Most fleets can only be damaged twice before destruction. Additional *s will be used if the fleet can take more than one hit. Hierarchy first fleets and UGCR fleets can take 3 hits.
