No, the Ravana variant is the Shivan's Assult Carrier (Destroyer/Carrier hybrid) IIRC.
Also goes by 'Murasaki-Tatsu' outside of Hard-Light

The Ravana variant, named Iblis replacing the R1 destroyer of the same name, is like a mirrored Ravana, with the pylon-supported fighterbay and ventral fin on both sides, as well as 2 dorsal fin-claws (I think they should be further apart) and a fighter bay on the right(?) side of the "head" front section.  She also mounts AAA on the forward pair of upper, smaller, head-spikes (I believe).

Well they look similar so I thought the name would fit :)

Oh. I see. It looked a bit different from the one in the first set of screenies. As Trivial said, the fins do seem a bit close to each other. IMO it would look better if you replaced them with one central fin running down the center. All the screenies look very nice. :) Can we see some more?

I was wondering if you have a shot of the Yama:confused: . I haven't seen that ship before, and I'm very curious as to what that ship looks like.

Both ships have 4 forward spikes
Both ships have two spikes coming out of their lower fighterbay sections
Both ships have upper spikes with beam weapons on them

The mirrored Ravana has the same design elements as the old Iblis model, so it became the Iblis.

Well when you put it like that, the Iblis just looks so much chunkier than the Ravana/New Iblis.

In my opinion, the Iblis and Kismat of INF R1 were ugly.

I kinda liked the Kismat, though it could use some better textures and perhaps some hi-polification.

The Kismat is about the same, it was remapped a bit and now has a fighterbay.

Yeah, it was the maps that looked ugly on them. The Kismat didn't look TOO bad. The Iblis... looks ten times better now. I'm liking what I see.

Not showing off any of the Vasudan stuff?  ;)
who needs a signature? ;)
It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

How about some weapons effects shots? I dunno, I'm just thinking of ideas. I've pretty much run out of ships I want to see- at least ships you'll show;).

Yeah, I'm the one that converted it for Ryx. That's the Lenaeus class carrier. It was once a public release but was lost as it wasn't on fileplanet. The original was only 1km long though, that one is 2km so that it can carry some of the larger fighters.

The Big Eyecandy Thread (warning: lots of images)
It looks like an odd design, but certainly interesting nonetheless. What is the Lenaeus used for? Is it the equivalent of the Rahotep or what?
