I propose that Squad two gets renamed as the Mobile Infantry, and be done with it. That way, the mortality rate is directly proportional to how badass we are.

Deployment against a UFO downed by Scotty over California was the first combat use. -Joshua- and SpardaSon were issued the two prototype suits. The mission was fought in daylight. Neither Flying Suit was hit, but both troopers wearing them scored kills and reported the tactical mobility granted by flight was highly useful.

Interestingly enough, I have started playing Tribes: Ascend today - Being issued flying suits is one hell of a coincidence 0_o.

Squad 1 might be good at fighting the aliens, but Squad 2 has that certain je ne sais quoi.  I think that the military experts on this board will back me up that that is how most wars are actually won.

Mmmk, been playing a bit meeself, and... how to you instruct your troops to fire?  I won one battle with setting the little thing for saving TU for reaction snap / aimed / auto shots, (lost 4) but after being decimated several times, I realized that there has to be a fire command... How do you do that?  I think I was only using reaction snap shots all this time.

There should be little icons in the bottom left to select snap/aimed/auto.

Yes, but how do you target the alien?  I don't know how to get the crosshair thing that I see in some snapshots.  Clicking the alien doesn't seem to work.  Nor does right-click.
